2023 IT ALL COMES TOGETHER

We hope this year is about coming together and being closer to normal than we have been in a long time.

Yearbook will come out in July of 2023 to include spring sports, prom, and Graduation.

Senior portraits were taken by appointment during October and make-up was in Nov. Seniors can see Mrs. Rice in room 125 to find out how to be included if they did not schedule an appointment.

Underclassmen Portraits were taken via math classes during November.

2022 TAKE 2

Take 2 on our mascot, our NTI experience, and return to person, the TAKE TWO yearbook was created as we tried to return to person school for the 2nd time since the pandemic. Senior Eden Henry created font with glitches to represent that the year was back to normal, but in so many ways it was anything but normal as we glitched through the year.

2021 CHANGING OUR   PERSPECTIVES

We CHANGED OUR PERSPECTIVES this year as we learned to do EVERYTHING in our lives from home, dropped the Rebel mascot for the Raven, our building went under renovations, and our lives were turned upside down in many ways. All students help to create this book since we had to ask for submissions for photographs... even portraits. We all came to school masked and changed the way we saw our peers. It was a year of change and we embraced it.

2020 RISE & SHINE

This book was inspired by the many sunrises that occur during the school year and how each Rebel shines through each and every one.

The cover is a composite of a sunrise photograph taken by Mrs. Rice from Mrs. Taylors upstairs classroom during 1st period. The silhouettes are Atherton students taken by Mrs. Rice at Iroquois Park overlook in south Louisville. Two different photos of the students holding their hand in the air were taken and then cut out to be layered onto the sunrise. 2020 Senior Micheal Carpenter created the composite.

We also used some new techniques like a gloss finish on the senior section and a fold out pamphlet for the pep rally.
