Assistant Principal

Dear Camp Taylor Families,

It is with great pleasure and pride that I serve as assistant principal for the Camp Taylor Elementary School community. I am privileged to work with such an amazing and dedicated group of students, teachers, staff, and families. My core belief is that all students should have access to a high quality, rigorous learning environment that will enable them to experience academic achievement supported by a community of invested stakeholders. I look forward to working with your family to guide and mentor your child throughout their educational experience.

I have worked for JCPS for over 20 years as an educator, an instructional coach, and an administrator. I have enjoyed every moment teaching students, learning with teachers and administrators, and building relationships with families. Being an educator has been a truly rewarding journey as I have seen students realize that learning opens doors to any dream imaginable.

I am married to Corden and have one beautiful daughter, Jocelyn. She is truly our world, so don’t be surprised if you feel like you know her personally within a short period of time.

I truly believe that all students can learn and grow to meet their fullest potential, and I plan to be a part of that growth. Please feel free to contact me at any time. My door is always open.
