Who are we? We are the Bear Necessities reporters! You can read more about us individually on our Meet the Staff page- but, as a collective, we're passionate writers looking to entertain and educate. We care about writing news for students, by students.

All of us take the high school Journalism class, and we come from every grade. Freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors are all here, working together to curate the paper you're reading now. All of us have different interests, spanning from theatre and fashion to sports and politics. We like to think that all of our interests combine to create an interesting publication that appeals to everyone... that's probably up to the reader, though.

Every one of our issues is written, edited, and produced by students; our class takes care of marketing and promotion for the paper, as well! The lovely Neysa Jones, our staff support, helps us with editing and time management, as well as teaching us news writing basics. We're an all-star class, bringing you the best news since 1972.
