How our schools colors came about...

Our school's first two colors were gold and white for David Bruce Brown (Valley's first principal) Alma mater, Center College. Later the color blue was added to honor Mr. Brown when he returned from serving in World War II. As time went on Valley's Vikings mascot was chosen, it became popular throughout the region and remains true today.
