Hello Zachary Taylor families,

 I am excited to start as the new assistant principal in the 2023-24 school year. This is the start of my 16th year as an educator in JCPS.  I have been married to my husband Kenny for 29 years, together we have raised 4 loving children. At one point we had children in 3 different universities within the state. We have 2 bonus grandchildren we enjoy exploring the world with and teaching them new things. 

My goal for being at Zachary Taylor is to support Mrs. Cravens and fulfill the mission and vision she has for the school. I will also work alongside the administrative team, staff, families  and all stakeholders to meet  the high expectations and academic success for all students. 

As a leader I see the one of a kind story of each person’s life  and know how to support them to do more than they ever thought they could. I have the passion, leadership experience, academic knowledge, and interpersonal skills to be an effective leader at Zachary Taylor  Elementary. I am excited about working to empower teachers to help support the growth of all students both academically, emotionally and socially.
