My name is Rachel Acree, this is my sixth year teaching and I could not be more excited to be joining the Explore Academy at Ramsey Middle School. I am a wife and a mom to two boys, Asher and Kai. In my free time, I enjoy watching TV, reading books, playing with my kids, and listening to true crime podcasts. I am a fan of all things Disney, penguins, spicy food and the color blue. I can't wait to meet my students this year!

I'm in my second year teaching and excited to get back in the classroom. Coming from the business world, I bring real world teaching to the classroom. My professional background includes radio marketing, heavy machinery rental and sales, real estate sales, logistics and account management. I’ve had many experiences in such different industries that I’m hoping to bring a different view to learning. I'm grateful to be part of Explore here at Ramsey Middle School and am looking forward to engaging with your students about business.

This is my 27th year as a teacher in JCPS, and my 15th year here at Ramsey. I am a graduate of Vanderbilt University, and I earned a Masters Degree from University of Louisville. I have taught Spanish, Language Arts, Technology, and currently teach 6th grade Business & Communications. I also serve as our school’s technology coordinator. All three of my children have attended Ramsey Middle School. It’s a great place to be!
