Welcome back to Bloom Elementary: 2024-2025 School Year
We are so excited to be back in the swing of things. Below you will find everything you need to have your child ready to start the school year. Please start with the "Class Supply Lists" section below and proceed down from there.
Important dates:
Mid-July: Class assignment letters sent to families
August 2nd:
9a - 11a: New to Bloom Scavenger Hunt: For all children and their families who are new to Bloom. Arrive any time after 9a but allow approximately 30 minutes to walk around the school; at 11:00a all guests will need to exit the building.
3p-4p: New to Bloom Caregiver Orientation (adults only): Bloom's admin and PTA will share lots of important information, dates, etc. This is not a child-friendly event, so please find child care ASAP.
August 6th:
5p - 5:30p Bloom PTA Meeting & Welcome to Bloom - the entire Bloom Village is invited.
5:30p - 7p: Bloom's Open House. Please bring your child(ren)'s supplies to drop off in their room at this event.
August 8th - First Day of School:
7:00a Doors open for students to enter Bloom.
7:05a The Bloom PTA's Boo-hoo/Yahoo! event on our parkground for the caregivers!
7:30a School Starts (studenrts must be in their seats at 7:30a). If your child is a bus rider, PLEASE have them practice riding the bus on day one - if you'd like to drive here and meet them here as they exit their bus for a 1st day photo, that's perfectly fine.
2:10p Dismissal/End of the 1st Day of School
August 11th: Bloom PTA's Back to School Picnic 12p - 3p at Tyler Park | More dets to come - "save the date"
