Norton Elementary School is named after the former Jefferson County Board of education member Jane M. Norton and her husband, George, in honor of their contributions to education in the community. Norton Elementary School opened in the fall of 1967. Our school won a blue ribbon in 2017 and is one of the highest graded schools in the district.
