Workers' Compensation
Workers’ Compensation provides for the cost of related medical care and prescriptions as well as lost income benefits when an employee cannot work due to a work-related injury or occupational disease. The district has a robust workplace accommodations and temporary modified duty program to assist injured employees with returning to work. If injured in the course and scope of employment, notify your supervisor immediately and your location will complete the workers’ compensation first report of injury form within 72 hours of your injury/illness.
If you are injured on the job, you must complete an Employee Illness/Injury Report at your work location as soon as possible within 72 hours of your injury/illness.
